Around the city of Istanbul, Turkey.

Hoseldiginiz!

I really want to update about Istanbul but for this past days, I've been busy (doing nothing, really) and my internet is so stupid nowadays I just don't know why. But since today I don't really have things to do so I guess I'll write a bit about this beautiful city. Oh, I'm listening to Panic! At The Disco's album, Too Young to Live, Too Rare to Die (why the hell the album's name is so panjang??) while updating this. I really hope this amazing band will release a new album because my telinga dah bosan ulang lagu yang sama. And Mars too, please new album please.

Eh lari topik kejap haha.

Ok back to our main topic. Istanbul. Well, I actually don't really know what to write so haha enjoy the picture! And maybe I will selit-selit sikit story in between pictures hihi.

btw, I really hate it how blogspot compressed my pictures and it somehow become ugly. Ugh tapi apa boleh buat.

Around the City.

Hotel tempat tinggal while in Istanbul. 4 star hotel and betul-betul locate dekat city. Kalau keluar hotel ni, jalan sikit lagi dah boleh nampak mrt istanbul. And wifi dia pun superrrr laju!

tempat jual basikal underground

Kalau perasan, in most of the pics, nampak langit macam kelabu, mendung je. Sebab waktu ni, Turkey dalam transition phase from spring to summer. So, weather di humid and windy jer. Normal temperature dalam 15°C-22°C. Kalau malam, temperature kadang-kadang boleh sampai 10°C. Kalau nak melancong to negara 4 musim, waktu macam ni memang best kalau nak travel sebab tak panas sangat, tak sejuk sangat, chilly jer. (free tips!)

Dekat sini, the rakyats really love and respect their pemimpin so much. As in this picture, sampai ada orang jual bendera ada muka raja diorang, and suprising enough, ramai beli! Semoga rakyat Malaysia someday boleh respect pemimpin sampai macam ni haha.

pretty much how their police hover around the city. soooo coooool!

Ada 1 day tu, kitaorang lunch deat sini. Yepp this boat is actually a restaurant!

Upper part of this boat restaurant

And ada boat ala-ala jack sparrow punya kapal dekat sebelah. Haha and my mom was freaking over this boat like ya Allah, letih tau dengar dia bebel kata dia suka this boat.

Istanbul University.

Rindu UM. haha.

While, we were in Istanbul, we got the chance to go to one of shop here yang jual barang-barang leather yang mahalnya subhanallah. And waktu pergi tu ada fashion show hahahahahah.

this guy kan remind me a lot of Ron Woodroof from Dallas Buyers Club. His moustache tu eee geramnya macam nak tarik-tarik haha
beg Prada ori import dia letak gitu jer. Nak curi pun takpa.

oh btw, did I tell you, ada newspaper dekat sini nama Sabah??
First jumpa newspaper ni waktu dalam flight. Ingatkan ni newspaper Sabah ke apa mula-mula tapi bila belek-belek rupanya ni newspaper Turki. Seorang sofiah memang sentiasa jakun tengok stuff like this. Actually, 'Sabah' in turkish means 'Morning'. Rasanya perkataan 'sabah' ni datang dari perkataan arab 'sobah' yang juga membawa maksud 'morning'. Wuish dah boleh jadi pakar bahasa ni.

The street.

Bosphorus River.
Bosphorus river ini bukan calang-calang sungai! Bosphorus river ni a river yang jadi boundary between Asia and Europe. So kalau lalu dekat tengah sungai ni, sebelah tu Asia, sebelah lagi Europe. We were all lucky enough sebab dapat chance to go on a cruise (not really a cruise la,  maybe a small cruise kot) to hover along this river. And subhanallah, the view is so breathtaking!

As you can see in this picture, ada seagull tengah duduk bersantai di atas permukaan air yang bersih dan jernih. Semoga sungai dekat Malaysia pun jernih macam ni, Aminnn. Oh, while we on this cruise, ada ternampak few dolphins lompat-lompat!! But, tak sempat nak ambik gambar. My dad sempat ambil gambar (because he is such a great photographer-dad) but I don't know where my dad put his DSLR so no picture for yew.

I don't know why this bridge kind of remind me of Gotham City

Believe it or not, the building above is one of university in Istanbul. Bapak cool weh university alongside this river!!

Maqam Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari // Eyub Sultan Mosque
As we all know, Ayyub Al-Ansari ni one of Rasulullah's closest friend. Kalau ingat, waktu Rasulullah mula-mula sampai Madinah, lepas baginda kasi unta dia jalan pilih rumah, rumah Ayyub Al-Ansari lah yang unta ni pilih.

So macam mana makam beliau ada dekat Turki ni? Ayyub Al-Ansari is one of sahabat yang simpan niat nak conquer Constantinople lepas dengar hadis Rasulullah. But sadly, he died in one of his battle of conquering Constantinople and hence, jasad beliau disemadikan di sini. Kalau tak salah, this battle against the Byazantine Empire around waktu 49 after Hijrah.

Dekat sini banyak orang syiah datang nangis-nangis depan makam Ayyub Al-Ansari. Maybe Ayyub Al-Ansari ni pun one of 'tokoh' penting to the Shias kot, entahlah lupa pulak nak kaji.

Kalau tak salah, Ahmad Ammar, Malaysian student yang meninggal few years ago and believed to be syahid was buried here. How lucky is it to be buried here? Ya Allah, may we all dapat kematian yang penuh berkat macam ni. Biar dekat dunia dihormati. bila dah meninggal dimuliakan, apatah lagi lah dekat akhirat. Aminn

Blue Mosque
Blue Mosque or Masjid Biru or Sultan Ahmed Mosque is one of the beautiful mosque dekat Turki. Turki ni memang terkenal dengan kecantikkan seni bina dia, and so the masjid here subhanallah, sangatlah cantik. Here some pics of Blue Mosque. Enjoice!

the interior.

Unlike in Malaysia, where most of the mosque mesti ada signboard, "Please don't sleep in the mosque", in turkey (and most of Islam Countries I rasa), tidur or rehat di dalam masjid dibolehkan dan kadang-kadang digalakkan sebab semua orang tahu, tidur atau rehat dalam Masjid is one of iktikaf dalam masjid.

Spice Market & Grand Bazaar
So here is where everyone go shopping for souvenir and tudung and sejadah. Dekat Grand Bazaar la the place where I met the one and only Oğuzhan Yaşar (pronounce: o-u-san  ya-syays) hihi.

ni orang panggil, Halva. Ya robbi sedap gila. Beli punyalah banyak actually but then my mom and dad bawak pergi office, tup tap tup dah tinggal sikit. Halva ni macam kind of manisan orang turki and one of their specialities. Ada jugak try tanya orang-orang dekat sini macam mana nak buat, tapi diorang beleter apa pun tak faham haha.

People of Istanbul.
Sebenarnya orang turki ni ramai handsome. At first ingat turkish people ni macam arab-arab je but actually most of the people here macam more to caucasian looks. But most of the time, bila jumpa orang handsome, mesti nanti ternganga tengok and lupa nak ambil gambar haha.

What you see this boys's wearing, is pakaian tradisional turki. Comel je

Seronok gila habis sekolah boleh lepak-lepak camni hurm.

Yaşar ❤

Oh makcik ni hahahahahahahhaa ada cerita kelakar pasal dia. Tapi tak baik buka aib dia kan so hahahahahahaha simpan sorang-sorang je la gelak ni hahahaha

50 shades of Mr. Turkish

Okay, so sampai sini jela nak beleter haha. For two special place, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, I will write in a different post sebab these two place banyak sikit nak write about. Hehe.

Adiosz!
